Demetri Martin does lots and lots of things. As fans of the guy, these are things we'd want to know about it. To help with that, I have to decided to dedicate this page to news and updates. Anything involving Demetri Martin that is happening now or in the future can be found right here. (This is the short version of what this page will contain. The longer version can be found below.)

  • January 13, 2007:

    The ALL NEW one hour Demetri Martin special, "Demetri Martin. Person." will air for the very first time tomorrow (Sunday), January 14th, at 10:00pm on Comedy Central. If you happen to miss it, Comedy Central will be replaying it at 12:00 midnight that same night.

  • November 29, 2006:

    Two interviews and a video. No, it's not a sitcom, it's the most recent Demetri stuff floating around. There's a short interview here, a longer (and better) interview here, and the third clearification.com video has been added here. Enjoy.

  • November 5, 2006:

    There has been a Demetri Martin video update. It's an interview... sort of. Check it out at the top of the videos page. I also added Demetri's second clearification.com video the other day. So, you can check that out as well.

  • October 20, 2006:

    I came across a brand new Demetri Martin interview. Some additional stuff that didn't make it into the actual interview ended up here.

    Also, last update I said I added a video to the video page of Demetri doing a spot on Conan. About 2 days after I put it up, YouTube took it down due to some lame copyright bullshit. I found this odd of course, seeing as approximately 90% of YouTube consists of similar copyright infringing stuff. They really only seem to have a problem with it when I put the video up. But, what can you do. If anyone has any better ideas for how I can get and KEEP the video up, let me know.

  • October 17, 2006:

    A bunch of new videos have been added to the video page. One is a performance on Conan in 2005, two others are videos he did for Zilo.com in (I think) 2001, and the other is part 3 (of 3) of Demetri's Comedy Central Special. You can check them all out here: Demetri Martin Videos

  • October 4, 2006:

    Now here's an update for ya. Demetri has a new, uh, I don't even know what to call it. It's a web site of some kind, with very well done animation of Demetri talking about various things. It's at Clearification.com. I think this site has something to do with Demetri's whole Microsoft Vista deal. There's a lot of interesting stuff there, including webisodes (the first of which I put up at the top of the videos page). Go check it all out.

    • In other news, Demetri Martin will be taping a 1 hour Comedy Central Special in November that should air in January 2007.

  • October 1, 2006:

  • September 27, 2006:

    I have tracked down another Demetri Martin video clip. This one is from a 2001 performance on a show called Late Friday. Go down to the bottom of the videos page to watch it.

  • September 26, 2006:

    Demetri's first stand up comedy CD/DVD, These Are Jokes, is officially released. Read my review here, or just go order it here.

  • September 22, 2006:

    Comedy Central will be replaying Demetri's 2004 special on Friday (9/22) at 10:30pm EST.

Specifics Of What This Page Will Contain

Demetri Martin is a very busy guy. Being a stand up comedian, he performs in clubs all over the country, not to mention at festivals around the world. When he's not doing that, he performs stand up on late night talk shows like Conan and Letterman. When he's not doing that, he's doing his own Comedy Central special (and is supposed to be doing another one).

When he's not doing that, he's recording his stand up comedy CD. When he's not doing that, he's doing his Trendspotting segment on The Daily Show. And when he's not doing that, he's writing scripts for movies (which he will star in) that have already been picked up by major studios. And when he's not doing that, he's doing stuff on his MySpace page. And when he's not doing that, he's getting ready to be the official face of Microsoft's Windows Vista ad campaign.

As a fan, this is quite a lot to keep up with. So, I've decided to do my very best to keep track of it all right here on this very page.

Whenever he's going to appear on TV in any capacity (doing stand up, doing Trendspotting, or even when Comedy Central replays his special) I'll find out about it and put it right here. If a video or mp3 of him doing stand up somehow makes it to the internet, I will find it and put it here. If any updates or news about his movie projects (or any other project) comes out, I'll find it and put it here. If he records a CD, writes a book, does an interview, updates his MySpace page or just does anything that a fan of his should know about... I will do my best to find it and put it here.

Basically, for all things Demetri Martin, this is the place to be.
